The flora of the Kühtai region is particularly impressive. Carpets of Alpine roses bloom from June to July. It is an unforgettable experience to view the Alpine world, which we usually think of as impressively bare, covered in rich colours and smelling of aromatic fragrances.
Hydro power
The Sellrain valley is particularly known for its vitality. It is fed by many source streams with water of such high quality that you can safely drink it.
But it isn’t good just for the throat - let your feet take a dip in the cool water. Kneipp treatments (a system of healing involving the application of water through various methods, temperatures and pressures) and wading in water strengthen the immune system and make you feel bright-eyed and bushy-tailed. Splashing around is also a lot of fun for the children!
Two lakes, Naturbadeseen Lanser See and Natterer See, invite you to come swimming. They are the perfect places in nature to meet other children and their parents.
